As in seasons past, the Bay Cup points formula will mimic USA Fencing’s point system for domestic Division 1 events, which can be found in the USA Fencing Athlete Handbook.
Regular Series
The point standings are calculated using your best results, with your lowest result excluded. If the series has 3 events, your best 2 results will be used; If the series has 4 events, your best 3 will be considered; and so on. If you do not fence every event in the series, then all of your results will count toward your points total.
Gift cards will be awarded to the top 4 finishers in each main event series (Youth, Junior, Senior and Veteran) and each series winner will receive a trophy.
